Portuguese Company Offering Disruptive Air Nanobubble Generation Technology for Water and Agriculture

Abstract

- Air nanobubbles are a new technology for agriculture, but can be used in many industries and activities; Air nanobubbles until this invention, were generated by heavy and costly equipemnt that required high energy (+5000W) to function efficiently, limiting its broadly usage to high profit cultures like medicinal cannabis. This is a new way to generate air nanobubbles in water solutions. It is light, much cheaper and requires less than 100W to function efficiently. With it, food production in soil or substrate, can reduce crop stress due to soil compaction or wrong irrigation planning or any other issue that limit air access to crop roots;
- A partner investment to enter any agro market with full delivery capacity, can race with research programme calls settled with scientific institutions in Portugal (UTL) and Denmark (DTU). In March a CAPSTONE initial call was approved by 2 departments (Civil & Mechanic) at UTL to study and develop futher this invention;
- The inventor and its SME team work in portuguese agro market for last decade, delivering innovative solutions in Precision Agriculture due to expertise in plant physiology and sensor technologies;
- The partnership should materialize chosen markets presence with proper delivery capacity; partners funds should be well confortable with industrial management implementation & optimization, while having finnancial capacity for an adequate marketing work.

This project due to the disruptive innovation in terms of energy consumption (from +5000W to less than 100W) and no frequent support on filter replacement necessity, has the potential to be present in any agriculture production project of the planet, and by that, impact society and the environment due to allow agro production with less chemical inputs (allowing air access into root tips areas can release much more blocked Phosphourous and only by that factor alone, give more stronger plants and productions);
It is smaller, lighter, cheaper, with a great performance that doesn't require great organizational changes to be imposed on a farm; So it is on the market already, generating a growing number of satisfied costumers.

With it, farmers and agro&forestry production companies can solve general and impactfull problems generated by simple soil usage, like soil compaction which is general phenomena from crop instalation and following operations until harvest; irrigation is also a procedure that normally blocks air acess to roots affecting crop performance while providing water; Other innovative aspects are those related to crop protection and cleanning of water tanks but also easy solubilizations of products to water and that fits other industries like Construction or even chemistry.
The important factor is to have the capacity for fast market spreading of a technology that will have a very high adoption from any agriculture project that contact with this information, but also outside agriculture.
