The company is in a start up phase, and aims to develop and sell two product lines of high-quality children’s gloves:
1. Knitted cotton gloves
2. Knitted wool gloves
Both versions must be designed for active play and outdoor use, offering high comfort,
stretch, and full finger mobility so children can easily grip toys, climb, and play. The gloves
will be produced in multiple sizes suitable for children aged 1–10 years.
Material and Design Requirements
Cotton Gloves:
The cotton gloves should be made of a soft knitted cotton outer layer combined with a
breathable waterproof and windproof membrane. This construction should ensure dry hands
while maintaining flexibility and a light, soft feel suitable for transitional seasons or milder
weather. The cotton material must be durable, skin-friendly, and machine washable without
losing stretch or shape.
Wool Gloves:
The wool gloves should be knitted from high-quality wool or a wool blend, also with a fully
integrated waterproof and windproof membrane. This version should offer enhanced warmth
while still allowing easy finger movement. The wool must be comfortable, non-itchy, and
able to withstand repeated washing without shrinking or felting (machine-washable wool is
preferred).
Shared Requirements (for both cotton and wool versions):
• A soft, flexible structure allowing children to bend fingers naturally.
• Waterproof membrane must not feel stiff or bulky.
• Stretchy cuffs to keep gloves in place and help children put them on independently.
• Optional silicone grip patterns on palms and fingers.
• Washable at 30°C without losing waterproof performance.
• Available in Scandinavian-inspired colours.
Name Label Feature:
Inside each glove, a small reinforced fabric patch must be integrated to hold name stickers or
iron-on labels securely. This patch should be placed so the label stays fixed during washing
and use, without peeling off or irritating the child’s skin.
