Title
High-phenolic dietary and health supplements from Greece offered for commercial partnerships
Abstract
This family-owned Greek company, rooted in olive cultivation since 1780, produces award-winning high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil under the scientific guidance of the World Olive Center for Health and researchers at the University of Athens. Its oils carry the official EU Health Claim (Regulation 432/2012) for protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress, vascular health, and functional ageing.
Production follows strict research-based protocols: early harvest of organic Koroneiki olives, cold extraction at 25–27°C using a two-phase press, and storage in nitrogen-sealed stainless steel tanks. All olives are transported in material safety data sheet (MSDS) certified crates. The company has been a member of the World Olive Center for Health since 2017.
Since 2018, the company’s gold category product has received 24 international and domestic awards, including 9 consecutive awards from the World Olive Center for Health and 6 awards from the London International Olive Oil Competition, with further recognition from competitions in Tokyo, Italy, Canada, Dubai and Athens, among others.
Beyond its core range, the company also offers curated gift sets for the hospitality sector and special occasions, including a handcrafted hardwood gift box containing premium oils and wild capers.
The company is interested in concluding trade agreements with experienced importer-distributors and commercial agents worldwide. Of particular interest are the markets of India, Japan, Singapore, and also the UK.
The company's extra virgin olive oils fall exclusively under the EU-certified high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil classification (less than 5 milligrams of polyphenols per 20 grams), with polyphenol concentrations ranging from 800 milligrams per kilogram (silver category) to 1,914 milligrams per kilogram (platinum category). This is considerably higher than the EU threshold. Daily consumption of 20 grams of the gold category of the company's extra virgin olive oil delivers 27.31 milligrams of phenols or their derivatives. These levels confer strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, with scientific associations to cardiovascular health, diabetes, hypertension, and neurodegenerative conditions.
The company is among the very few small-scale producers worldwide whose products have been the subject of independent clinical research.
A 30-day study on chronic pain, inflammation and osteoarthritis (27 participants) found that 93% reported significant pain reduction and improved daily functionality, with no need for additional painkillers.
A randomised clinical trial involving 70 participants, (published in a specialist journal by a multidisciplinary digital publishing institute in November 2025), demonstrated statistically significant improvements in vascular endothelial function, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in hyperlipidaemic patients. The lower doses of high-phenolic extra virgin olive oil outperformed the higher doses of standard extra virgin olive oil, confirming that polyphenol concentration is the decisive health factor.
