Abstract
Balance Center is an Albanian non-profit organization providing entrepreneurship development, employability, SME support, and green transition services with a strong focus on youth empowerment, women’s economic inclusion, and sustainable business growth. The organization works with municipalities, public institutions, VET providers, development organizations, businesses, and international partners to support employment pathways, entrepreneurship ecosystems, and inclusive economic development across Albania.
Balance Center offers practical expertise in entrepreneurship training, business coaching, SME advisory services, green transformation, resource efficiency, and institutional capacity building. Through internationally recognized methodologies such as PREMA, SCORE, and CEFE, the organization supports entrepreneurs and SMEs in improving operational performance, adopting sustainable and ESG-oriented practices, strengthening competitiveness, and aligning with EU market standards and circular economy principles.
With extensive experience in donor-funded programme implementation and multi-stakeholder coordination, Balance Center has trained over 7,500 entrepreneurs, developed more than 4,500 business plans, and supported MSMEs, vulnerable youth, women entrepreneurs, and rural communities through tailored business development and employability programmes. The organization works closely with international partners including GIZ, UN Women, EBRD, KfW, EIT Food, World Vision, and local institutions to deliver sustainable and measurable impact.
Through strategic partnerships, technical assistance, mentoring, and innovation-driven initiatives, Balance Center aims to strengthen entrepreneurship ecosystems, promote green and inclusive economic development, and connect local actors with European and international opportunities.

Strong specialization in green transition and resource efficiency, helping enterprises improve environmental compliance, operational performance, and alignment with EU standards and ESG principles.
Extensive experience in supporting vulnerable groups, including youth NEET, women survivors of violence, and rural populations, through integrated labour market activation and business start-up pathways.
Strong track record in managing donor-funded projects and international partnerships with organizations such as GIZ, UN Women, EBRD, KfW, and World Vision, ensuring high-quality implementation and reporting standards.
